I still have like 3 weeks left in the year, bite me.
1: What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before? Acquired a job. Granted it pays shit and has zero benefits and is temp, but it's in my field and I actually do productive shit. Flew somewhere by myself. Without a parent. I AM AN ADULT.
2: Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I tried to be happier and guess what, I was happier. Next year, be productive.
3: Did anyone close to you give birth? A close friend of mine had a baby a few months ago. Uh. My cousin had her kid back in like April or something.
4: Did anyone close to you die? Nein.
5: What countries did you visit? None but I left the state to see DC.
6: What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013 See: last year. A (better) job, money, a love life.
7: What dates from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Idk.
8: What was your biggest achievement of the year? I acquired a job???? Oh aside from that I made +1 friend outside of the same people I've known since high school and outside of people I consider acquaintances. Overall I think those aside it was definitely working on being extroverted a lot more than I was usually, and actually trying to make conversation with people.
9: What was your biggest failure? Time management, failing at job interviews. I learned a lot from those job interviews, but still.
10: Did you suffer illness or injury? Colds suk.
11: What was the best thing you bought? Crepes.
12: Whose behaviour merited celebration? My mom for being super zen and letting me fly to DC by my lonesome and staying for a week.
13: Whose behaviour made you appalled? My brother has reached teenage douchebag levels.
14: Where did most of your money go? Car insurance, college loans, gas, food.
15: What did you get really, really, really excited about? Social interactions??
16: What song will always remind you of 2013? Pompeii - Bastille.
17: Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer? happier, thinner, somewhat richer.
18: What do you wish you’d done more of? Put in more effort in life.
19: What do you wish you’d done less of? Slacking off and buying food.
20: How did you spend Christmas? I'll spend christmas existing.
21: Did you fall in love in 2013? Yes. It's an adventure and a half and frequently ranges from wow I hate your face to wanting to aggressively kick him in the balls to actually liking him and wow I really hate you Jordan.
22: What was your favourite TV program? Almost Human, Sleepy Hollow, Doctor Who.
23: Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Still my dad.
24: What was the best book you read? The Namesake - Jhumpa Lahiri and Doctor Sleep - Stephen King
25: What was your greatest musical discovery? Slam jams.
26: What did you want and get? A job. Somewhat more happiness. A friend.
27: What did you want and not get? A love life.
28: What was your favourite film of this year? I don't even remember what movies I saw this year.
29: What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying? The fact that I'm no longer in the same place I was several years ago, which was near perpetual depression and lack of motivation. I know how to handle mood swings and easily put myself back on track back to normalcy.
30: How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2013? I learned what layers are.
31: What kept you sane? Anyone and everyone I consider a close ass friend. Having them around really helped to remind me that yes, I can keep moving.

33: What political issue stirred you the most? Islamophobia generated issues.
34: Who did you miss? My friends from high school. I wanna reconnect with them and I don't know how.
